Pushback S Bot Aligner

2025

This is an aligner I designed in CAD for the Push Back S Bot, a VEX V5 competition robot. Mounting the aligner as low as possible is the best approach, because if you mount it up high and then align to the goal, the aligner has more leverage on your robot, so it slips up and jumps off the ground. Keeping it as close to the ground as possible avoids that. The plastic is mounted off a crossbrace that I triangle braced with custom cut 84 tooth gears acting as the bracing.
