Main Instrument Panel (MIP)

2022

The main instrument panel is the largest piece in my 737 flight simulator cockpit and forms the whole front face the pilot looks at. I laser cut the tall grey plate with the big display cutouts for the primary flight and navigation screens, smaller openings for the sub panels, and the many mounting holes around the edges. I painted it, fitted the smaller control panels into place, and ran the wiring on the back side with an Arduino so the switches and displays could drive Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
