High Stakes Worlds Bot

2025
Close render of the wall stake arm raised with a ring resting at the top

This is the complete VEX V5 robot I designed in CAD and built for the High Stakes World Championship in Dallas, Texas. It is a simple conveyor intake robot with a wall stake arm that held rings by friction fit. The drivetrain is 600 RPM on 2.75 inch wheels. The conveyor and the preroller shared an 11W motor at 600 RPM, the wall stake arm ran 11W at 100 RPM, and it carried a 2 piston mobile goal clamp. Laser cut Delrin gussets tie the frame together.
